Barcelona aquarium is situated right in the marina area and this is easily accessible by metro or by walking to the end of La Rambla, the main tourist street in Barcelona. The Barcelona City
tour buses also stop near to the aquarium so you will be able to get to the attraction without any trouble. The aquarium itself has a very good selection of exhibits including over three hundred species, including sharks and sea-fish. Entrance when I last checked was €16 with reduced entrance for children and seniors. If you want to stay near to the aquarium then the Barri Gotic area is maybe a good bet.

i took my family to the BCN aquarium a fe weeks back during our holiday there. the Aquarium is cnetrally located near the beach and the Old City. there were numerous exhbits and large tanks with an incredible variety of species. the kids loved every minute of it. I would highly recommend it!
I have been to Barcelona aquarium three times as I love is so much. You have to see the sharks.
Barcelona rocks. It's the best city in Europe for a weekend break in my view.
the aquarium is one of the good place to finish a busy weekend in a quiet way
unless you're lucky enough to go to florida or cape town etc, this is one of the best aquariums in europe
